Looks like this is the first time America’s two favorite soft drinks won’t be budding heads. Pepsi and Coca-Cola executives discussed some details with the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan recently, regarding the companies’ pledge to invest over $1.4 billion dollars into the country.

Coca-Cola has already created business ventures with Pakistan, including investments of over $500 million. The plan now is to expand those numbers by investing another $200 million into the Middle East within the next three years. Pepsi, however, has been discussing to invest over $1 billion into the country over the next 5 years. Pepsi is also said to have been involved in this investment with Mike Spanos, who is the Chief Executive of Pepsi in the Middle East and North Africa.
