More palomas, please! A summer twist on the margarita #nationaltequiladay
All over the world, Tequila lovers are taking advantage of an opportunity to imbibe with their spirit of choice. But what we all can agree on is that after a few shots and a few margaritas here and there, shouldn’t there be more to one of the world’s favorite spirits?
Enter the Paloma — margarita’s summery, sexy cousin. In the same amount of time it takes to make a margarita, you can enjoy a refreshingly tart and fizzy cocktail that’s full of flavor and brings a bit more variety to the party! And it’s a low-calorie option!
In under five minutes, this is one of the simplest cocktails to master with ingredients that are just as easy to find around your kitchen.
The ingredients: 2 ounces, Avión silver tequila; 1 ounce, grapefruit juice; ½ ounce, fresh lime juice; ½ ounce, simple syrup and a splash of Club Soda.
The directions: Build ingredients over ice in a Collins glass and stir to chill. Garnish with a lime wedge and strawberry. Enjoy with friends.
