Cocktails & Diversity: Is it Possible for Bartenders to be Colorblind? #TalesOfTheCocktail

Special Show Alert!!! 100-Proof Radio and @Rollingout LIVE will be streaming live on RollingOut.com and RollingOut’s Facebook page in New Orleans, this Friday, July 20.

If you are in town for @Tales_Of_The_Cocktail we invite you to join @Jewesley06 at @theyequilahouse on Bourbon Street, and be a part of our live show.  Not in New Orleans? Check us out on @Rollingout Facebook Live Page or RollingOut.com.  We will be diving into the topic of Cocktails & Diversity:  Is it Possible for Bartenders to be Colorblind? #TalesOfTheCocktail
At the nation’s largest bartending conference, we will lead a healthy, mature, and fun dialogue about diversity, stereotypes, and biases within the hospitality industry. Does it exist or not? During the open forum, we will explore whether “not seeing color” is the right answer? When you claim to be color blind, do you really see the person and their culture to appreciate them? Is this the answer to diversity issues to have respect for all people, or is it more than that? Or do we need to recognize it, discuss it, attend training to prevent it, and strategize on how to fix it?
Doors open at 8:30 AM and show time is 9:00 a.m.-11 a.m. This is a FREE EVENT with Bloody Mary Drink Specials (Cash Bar).
