‘Rolling Out’ taps Cocktail Chronicles’ Je’ Wesley Day to launch new digital media department “RollingOut LIVE” for this fall
RollingOut has announced that it will be launching a new digital media department this fall — “RollingOut LIVE.” The department will host live streaming shows on multiple digital and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Soundcloud, Tune-In, IHeart Media, etc…).
At the helm of this project for RollingOut is none other than Cocktail Chronicles’ own Je’ Wesley Day, who will serve as RollingOut’s new National Program Director of Digital Media. Day has been with RollingOut for several months with his very own digital podcast, “100-Proof Radio with Je Wesley” that discusses the etiquette and decorum of drinking alcohol in various social settings.
In this time, Day helped to develop the insight, expectations, and vision for the newly formed division of RollingOut LIVE. In his role as national program director, Day will not only be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day of programming for “RollingOut LIVE” but also manage advertising and community relations for the RollingOut’s newly formed digital media department.
Day joined the RollingOut team with journalism experience after launching his own digital media platform, “Cocktail Chronicles” in 2015 and grew it to over 300k followers in less than three years. Je’ has also worked for Perfect Pitch Media Group and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists where he most recently served as the hospitality producer for the organization’s 2017 national convention and career fair.
Day also holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Northern Illinois University and an MBA degree from Keller Graduate School of Management in addition to a second masters degree in Human Resources management.
