‘2-Minute Sip’ with Cocktail Chronicles: Negroni Week 2018

Who doesn’t love the refreshing taste of a cool Negroni? The classic cocktail, which originates from Florence, Italy, is made of one part gin, one part Vermouth Rosso (red, semi-sweet), and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel.

Equally classic is Negroni Week, presented by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, which was launched in 2013 by Imbide as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charities around the world. From 2013 to today, Negroni Week has grown from about 120 participating venues to over 7,700 venues around the world, and to date, they have collectively raised nearly $1.5 million for charitable causes.
