Two Legendary Atlanta Pastors Talk Openly About Alcohol & Spirituality…
Cocktail Chronicles After Dark Edition presents “Cocktails & Spirituality.”
ATLANTA—Cocktail Chronicles’ After Dark Edition will host “Cocktails & Spirituality: Am I Going to Hell for Indulging in Alcohol?” on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. The event, which features a panel discussion on issues of alcohol consumption and religious faith, will take place at downtown Atlanta’s M Bar.
Je’ Wesley Day, founder and executive creative director of Cocktail Chronicles, hopes the event will start an informed dialogue among devout Christians on the traditionally taboo subjects of alcohol and inebriation.
“Our purpose is to dispel or confirm myths about alcohol so that consumers can be empowered to make their beverage choices from fact-based information,” Day said.
Tracye D. Bryant, the author of This Twisted Life, will host the event and moderate the discussion. Panelists include Dr. Kenneth L. Samuel, pastor of Victory for the World Church; Le’Andria Johnson, Grammy Award-winning gospel artist and pastor at IPC Ministries; and Day himself.
